So my brother's Bhangra (Dance) team will be performing at the White House tonight...

They were chosen to perform with other performers like A.R. Rahman (Slumdog Millionaire) and Jennifer Hudson.
Even though I'm not happy about Obama, and other things about the federal govt, I still think it's a once in a lifetime opportunity for someone to do this.
His group his called Bhangra Empire, and he's the Dholi. (A drum type instrument)
Here is a picture I took of him and his team in 2008:

Thats pretty sweet Gagan! Congrats to him. I love photographing events like that because of the colors, movement, and energy. Although stage lighting does not always lead to the best conditions.

Oh, sorry, forgot to mention that the reason is because the Indian PM is here, Manmohan Singh. So today is the first State Dinner, for our first official foreign leader coming to visit. Looks like Ghandi's grandson will be there, as well Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan (movie stars).

Just wish my Dad could be here with us to enjoy it too. I think today has been the first time since he died that I really really wish he here to be with us. I know he'd have been really happy. I'm sure he is...
