Brainwashed since they were kids. Must think their world is ending without him. Especially, in their capital - where elite people are supported (food and jobs) by their leader. They have to show grief at this point - or they are going to be kicked out from the elite group and face the work camp/prison. Very much cult like behaviour. Most likely, poor people in rural area feel different about his death when they are facing another winter famine. And of course, they are not selected to be captured on camera by the North officials. People shown in those clips are there to dissemble the world that they had a great leader. It's all affected truth.

That would be great. But I woudnt hope for it. China has something to loose and I am sure the world will let it go internal if the place fails. That way its contained in their border. If SK goes for gold. I am sure China will step in and it could go bad unless we step up to help and well then WWIII
