So just had the used car inspected by Santa Cruz Subaru...

First off, some of you might know about my car issues with Stevens Creek Mitsubishi, so first off Stevens Creek/Capitol Mitsubishi. So I ended up picking up a grey 07 STi for a pretty damn good deal at 11K miles at Capitol Subaru, I was skeptical at first because we got it for considerably low compared to the asking price, so I felt that there was something fishy about the car.

So I took it to Santa Cruz Subaru for a used car inspection... +1x10^10 to them!!! I brought my car to be inspected by Ronnie (Master technician), pretty cool guy. Car ran especially clean, never been in mud, never been tracked, never been MODDED, not even a dent or rock chips! But the best part about my experience at Santa Cruz Subaru is Charlie... We not only chatted up the whole time about Subarus (which he has too much knowledge about) he even went out of his way and showed me all the capabilities the STi can do, from the security, to the alarm, to the DCCD (which I had no idea about) and even installed the lug locks I bought from them.

So at the end of it all...

+1 to Capitol, even though the sales guy didn't know much about Subarus and some of you guys don't like them that much, he got me a great deal on a basically brand new STi and was really working with us...

+1 to Santa Cruz Subaru and to Charlie and Ronnie for great service. I'll only trust my car in the hands of Kevin (at AutoHQ) and Ronnie from now on.

(And I won't forget) +1 to AutoHQ for inspecting how ****ty the Evo was that Stevens Creek Mitsubishi sold us

-10000000000 to Stevens Creek Mitsubishi and Capitol Mitsubishi for being the perfect example of extremely greedy stealerships

$110 ... A little expensive, but I go to school in Santa Cruz so I saved money on gas otherwise I would've gone to AutoHQ

Do you have piece of mind that you were sold a good car and the car is all good....

then what's a few bucks?

Yeah that exactly was my rationale. I can now rest easy and not worry about it breaking on me or some parts falling off

If all your dealing with is a stock OEM car then I guess Santa Cruz Subaru is OK
But if you need somebody to think "outside the box" and actually use their brain and not only rely on the books then Santa Cruz Subaru SUCKS!

If that's grey... then yes. What does it stand for anyways? Urban grey metallic?

nice! $110 is cheap considering all the headache you went through with your last purchase...

Charlie has always been a great guy. I remember one time I dropped my car for some work. They had no loaner to give and he just gave me his car keys. Santa Cruz is great, I need to pay them a visit soon.

Yeah, lesson learned. I was really into buying an Evo though and pretty much had my mind set. It's good to be back in the Subie community
