Uh what? I was a little crazy in high school but other than that you're wrong on all counts. I didn't shoot myself, I got hit by a ricochet. Did you go to HS with me? otherwise STFU.

Yeah, I take a Xanax before I fly so I can sleep since the seats are sooooooo small and Im so uncomfortable. Whats the problem with that? Why would you try to throw me under the bus like that? Sometimes you're really nice and other times you're really mean/grouchy. What did I ever do to you?

With a degree in Physics he would be an officer. If they didn't have him as programmer, then he would be an O-1 (second lt.) or possibly and O-2 (due to life experiance)...the problem with going in as an O-2 is that he would be unprepared for military life and make all of the O-1 errors as an O-2 and this could impact a military career badly.
You are also very tall, it's hard to find clothes that fit and other issues due to size.
I don't know of anyone who had metal plates or pins in BEFORE being the military who was accepted, they just don't waiver that stuff unless you are already in.
Daniel,
If you have a BS in Physics, why aren't you working in a physics lab, I know the work is mostly boring, but the pay is good and if you can get them to issue you a security clearance your income has great potential. I have a couple of friends, just with a BS in Physical Science that got jobs at Lawrence Livermore Labs and UC Berkeley and one working for Chevron in Louisiana....all of them make more than I do (BSEE).

The pay is NOT good. I can go get a research job and make 40k a year, after all that school and stuff... NOT WORTH IT. I cna make a lot more working for the airforce. Its a shame that I was denied, but Im going to another recruiter and not tell them about my back.

WTF is this ****? Why would you say something so incredibly idiotic?

You think the seats that the Air Force pilots sit in are La-Z-Boy comfortable or something? I'm just trying to figure out which of the two diametrically opposed statements is the truth. You open yourself up to these questions when you make statements that are completely opposite from each other.
I wouldn't spend the time or energy to throw you under the bus - I'm obviously not the first person to ask questions about your stories, and I'm not being grouchy.

This thread is such an awesome example of the bizarre BL.
Hes scared of flying, can't sleep, needs all kinds of meds to sleep that don't work, scared of heights unless hes in a plane , a laundry list of ailments etc etc.
Man, I don't know why anyone wouldn't want you in charge of a multi-million dollar aircraft capable of tremendous destruction.

What stands out to me here is this: anyone can stand back and criticize someone's origination but it takes guts to put a unique idea out there. I know people like this - people that contribute nothing whatsoever to life, conversation, anything yet sit back and try to make others feel bad for whatever reason. This is what a young, insecure boy does, because he has no affect on the world. The internet is helping to create a whole bunch of young boys shaped like adults... Hate on, mock, whatever but see if you have what it takes to share a dream with the internet and get pooped on by the trolls.
In short - you will probably never forget the character "brucelee" on i-club, but the trolls come and go - always carrying more or less the same identity with different usernames.
Like Jay says, "there's one ***** with many faces..."
