All the above Bollocks aside I still think you should get a FXT mate, couple of mods here and there and a tune your near modified STI level and you can haul a keg. Hard to beat.

Something for some of the posters in this thread to think about is just because a thread references something/one or whatever you personally don't like for whatever reason, do us all a favor and keep it to yourself unless specifically asked. People coming on here jumping on folks with **** not really in the context of the original post just makes this place worse for everyone. That being said...

Group B - has your engine been blown up by Vishnu? have you even dealt with them? if you know someone who has and has a axe to grind with them let them post it don't keep on about the same crap which so far to date has seemed groundless, your starting to sound like a right muppet.

Shiv....It seems like ur ready to defend ur name on the forums, why not on the race track??

I once again, I ask for your shop Vishnu performance systems to bring out ANY of your shop cars...for a good old race.
You claim 11.20 for ur red shop Evo????Right...
April 16th @ Sac...Back it up Shiv., back up the talk.
I know you go to meets and alota races around the country...

(Notice this post is not a attack, or doesn't resort to name calling, i'm just giving the boys a invite to a drag race party)

Sure... come to Thunderhill this upcoming weekend You can race me in a stock Tiburon. If you're faster, then you qualify to race me in my EVO. Sound like a deal?

Shiv

PS. Just think, on a real track, you get to be on boost for longer than 11-12 seconds at a time!

Need convincing?

If you need some convincing about purchasing an FXT, I'm sure we can arrange a test ride which will probably convince you. God knows what would happen if we let Shiv give you a test ride. Suffice it to say...I won't be letting him drive it again on a public road...which is a good thing. I wouldn't mind seeing him handle it on the track, however.

Sleeper stealth (no one suspects the mommy-mobile), Porsche Boxster pouncing performance (with 400lbs. of munitions in the back), built in hole in the roof for building your .50 cal rising gun turret, and a six foot trunk add up to a pretty nice package.

A few mods, some ECU tuning, and you'll be ready to play...

Here's your info from http://www.subaru.com/servlet/showro...mmand=overview

STi:
Wheelbase/Length 99.4/173.8
Width/Height 68.5/56.3
Track: Front/Rear 58.7/58.9
Headroom: Front/Rear 38.6/36.7
Legroom: Front/Rear 42.9/33.0
Curb Weight (pounds) (w/Manual Transmission) 3298
EPA Interior Volume (cubic feet) 87.6
EPA Cargo Volume (cubic feet) 11.0 (trunk)
Maximum Towing Capacity (pounds)** 2000

FXT:
Wheelbase/Length 99.4/175.2
Width/Height 68.3/65.0
Track: front/rear 58.9/58.5
Minimum Road Clearance (at curb weight) 7.5
Headroom: Front/Rear 39.8/39.8
Legroom: front/rear 43.6/33.7
Shoulder room: front/rear 53.5/53.6
Curb Weight (pounds) (w/Manual Transmission) 3225
Curb Weight (pounds) (w/Automatic Transmission) 3270

EPA Interior Volume (cubic feet) 93.5
EPA Cargo Volume (cubic feet) 32.0 (rear seat up) 64.1 (rear seat down-SAE)
Maximum Towing Capacity (lbs.)** 2400 (Class One)

Looks as if the STi weighs more...maybe because it has bigger stronger tranny, bigger brakes, ect....not sure though.

Forester: 3225 lbs with MT/3270 with AT, so actually lighter than the STi at 3298lbs.

The Forester is a really nice car, you can't go wrong either way...
