I called them back today to see about that test drive and of course they want to run my credit before anything. I tried to tell them I just got a 2014 evo and that's proof my credits strong but they still insist on closing me on.the sale. These guys are tough lol
They have 3 ready to go. They can afford 1 tire kicker lol

I would go to a different dealer, this is further evidence they are still scum. Tell them they can check your credit when you have negotiated a price. It's a scummy trick for them to check your credit because it affects your credit when they do this, they figure you will want to just deal with them and be more likely to get *** ****ed by their price than go somewhere else and have it done again. TRAAAAP, i wouldn't bother dealing with any of these **** bay area dealers besides carlsen. Oakland if they had one would also be likely to let ya test drive.
I think if theres anything us iclubbers have learned with dealers is stay way from the south bay

Stevens Creek has them too, not that I'd buy one there. I don't think any dealer is going to allow you to test drive one.
I had the same issue with my Type R when I bought it. I asked the guy "Can I test drive this car first?" In a dick-ish way, he said "Yeah, if you buy it." SO I DID...d1ck. And yes, there's no reason for them to check your credit to test drive. They ask that to see if you're serious about buying it.

You won't be disappointed, power is almost immediate and handles incredibly. The car reviews don't really do it justice especially those that complain about it being stiff. You might feel a slight bit more over a GD WRX, but it dampens out immediately. Clutch is very light. The hill assist keeps throwing me off as I've never had it before and still getting used to it. May just end up keeping it off.
