someone on another forum emailed him and this is his response
here let me correct you. These motors can take 400 whp easy on the stock block. number 2 there is only 4.5 psi running through this chrager. thats a 1/4 of an sti or evo. the car has better lines than either in most people opinions, its been to altamont speedway in road courses/ autocross and has taken wrx's sti's, evo and porsches. the only cars than seem to do better was one wrx that had alot into suspention and turbo, and 2 srt4's that were barely street legal. There is plenty of more room to go. We havent even upgraded the struts on this car yet. Oh by the way, those other cars had slicks we didn't and still did that good. Not to mention its the first supercharged si in the world, and world known. oh yea not to mention the 2006 civic si was the car of the year in 2006. also this was the 3rd si in northern ca. so enough said on my part. i like the sti as well but have also had chances to run them. great cars as well as the bullet proof motor in the evo but sorry to say, this car just hold its value way better than an sti or evo. oh yea all while attaining 30mpg on the freeway. good luck
