Not really too funny to me. I happen to know an apache pilot... well he's flying the next level stuff now.
Lets just say that if ANY of his instrumentation gave up on him that would explain it all. Those things are like flying inside of a super computer.
Glad everyone is alight.
morons. lets laugh at the guys busting their asses to give you the freedom to talk ****.

Are they fighting the war on OneManArmy?

Possible. THose guys are a crazy bunch... but I honestly don't care what it looks like. Technology has become a thorn in the side of our military and we really don't need any bad press. Smashing a multi-million dollar heli isn't something I want the whole world to see... regardless of why.
-do something stupid or illegal
-record doing something stupid or illegal
-send it out to your friends and the internet
Not only is that ****ing idiot moron coming close to hitting buildings that could have people in them, he comes very close to wiping out a crowd of people, and regardless of him busting *** over there on top of it all is wasting more tax payer money that even the ARMY deems his life worth.
lol. idiotic. Next time maybe he will think before nearly killing a crowd of people to get a cell phone video for his boys at home to watch.

I just had this conversation with several special forces guys YESTERDAY. How the wide availability of cameras and the technology has led to a lot of crap on the internet... most of it posted by soldiers. Hell I have watched helmet camera footage of our tactical training. They said for the most part nothing that gets out there is harmful or not already known.
So just call me oversensitive because I have a great admiration for what those guys are doing and I do personally know a pilot. Those dudes are friggin crazy... and insanely smart. But everyone does stupid stuff.
I just don't like the banter from people having no clue about what really happened. More than likely he was doing something stupid but we don't know that. And those guys don't need cell phone footage. I've personally seen footage direct from the built in cameras of much crazier stuff than that.

the apaches can take more than that before being totally out of commision...
sure the under belly gun is gone. the front sensors and aiming system is DOA. but the twin engines are mounted up high and the bathtub is made to take lots of abuse.
and yes, the two dudes in there are probably toast as well...
