its only icy(supposidly, the sign was up saying watch out for ice) on 17 right now. Although i didnt hit any coming over last night(2am). But there was 3 accident remains. On a side note does anyone know what happend on 17 last night when i was heading out there was like 5 news vans on the summit. ANyone know? Sorry to highjack.

i was at work and i went up to the rooftop and saw the mountains, i wanted to go up and drive but it was already dark when i got outta work. great view too look at tho.

It was closed. There was a fire road you can hike up to get to it, but the rump rangers..err park rangers were being extra ornery. I went up there today to show my girl what snow was like(she's thai and had never seen snow first hadn) and the fuzz made us turn around, I had chains in the trunk and M+S tires but he was a sphincter so we flipped a u and stopped at the fire road only to come back to a parking ticket. It was really cold, but not all that interesting. I'm going to take a day off next week and take her up to my dad's cabin in pollock pines to see what snow is really like.
