Sick spot for photoshoots?
Does anyone have any suggestions for photoshoots here in the bay area? I'm really feeling the industrial setting right now, but haven't had a chance to go out and shoot.
anyway, here's my contribution to my own thread;
business park setting. this place is right off of Alvarado in Newark

If you're willing to make the trip down to the Monterey Bay, you could always go to the former military base Ft. Ord. Has some pretty sick old broken down buildings with some cool phrases on them (hospital, weapons, barracks, etc). Only prob is keeping out of the view of the MPs.

One I've used and I know is one of Doug Richardson's favorites (bdougr here on I-club) is in Milpitas, at the (mostly) unoccupied office park that is just north of McCarthy Ranch on the west side of 880. Specifically, buried in there is a "square" of palm trees.
Did a photoshoot of my WRX there a few years back, came out looking sweet!!!
Unfortunately, don't have the pics on this computer right now or I'd upload one...

near the wildlife refuge in newark off the bridge area.....there is some nice industrial sections over there.
take trade zone all the way down till you get to the end in milpitas/san jose and theres some nice ones there.
in milpitas turn left on milpitas blvd and make the first right and go all the way back and then left.....or make a u turn if youre on montague coming from 880..... theres railroad tracks and industrial stuff there.
i always drive past the truck company on old bayshore hwy (gish and 101 north) and wanted to shoot there but it seems like they never close
