the easiest way to stretch is buying double flared plugs like these:
Red Sono & Horn Fused Organic Double Flared Plugs 0g | eBay

and while you're in the shower, pop them in and out of your ear everyday when you're cleaning them. best time to change to a larger size in in the shower as well.

Those of you saying you've never had a job issue, have you gotten 100% of the jobs you've applied for?
I actually have gotten 100% of the jobs I've interviewed for, but I have submitted some resumes and apps for jobs I was grossly underqualified for that didn't get me a callback. Can't really blame those on tattoos or plugs though. I'm not suggesting this is everyone's experience, just my own.

I say go pick up some fake plugs that are a normal piercing and have like the 0g outside and wear those for awhile and see how you like them.

This is one of the reasons why I like i-club so much. It is really easy to bounce ideas off you guys and I don't need to keep stirring the pot.

Walter, Ryan, and Simon. I was really hoping to get your take on the subject and I am really glad you guys came in and shared your thoughts and experiences. Thank you.

For the record, this isn't something that I want to do because it is trendy nor do I want to do it to get the attention of more girls. I know those are both terrible reasons to do anything.

The fact that it is getting more trendy actually kinda turns we away from it. I don't want to fall into the trend bandwagon. I really dislike that crap. The idea that some girls find it attractive or that it could be a potential conversation piece or shared interest would just be a bonus really.

I have been on and off about this for the last 6-7 years. One of my friends in HS had stretched ears and I thought it was really cool. She even offered to let me have all the plugs that she used in the stretching process. IDK why I didn't do anything then, I guess I just didn't feel the drive to do it. Ever since then though I have always worked with people who had stretched ears, even now at my current job, and I have always be fascinated it.

I guess the real reason why I am more motivated now compared to how I was 6-7 years ago would probably be because I guess I am sorta in the process of change. Most of you guys saw me at BAM and saw how I look. I was the big white guy. That was pretty much all I had going for me (appearance wise). Since BAM I have gotten smaller and if I can keep with it, I will continue to get smaller. Until the point where (hopefully) I will no longer be a big guy. Well, I may still be a tall guy, but that distinction is already taken. I guess I feel like I would be too plain, so I want something to make me different and unique. I know I am the same decaying matter as everything else, but I want to be the unique snowflake.

I think what I'll do is get a pair of fake plugs and try those and see how those go before I make the jump and do the real thing.
