Should i move to MD if the offer i get makes fiscal sense?

I had an offer to move to Sac working for intel for more money than I could get here in the bay area... but I decided that losing a lot of my friends and not seeing my family wasnt worth it.

 

i say stay, because you cant move there due.. to... (will get back to you)

 

I would of moved in a flash....

Seriously, DON'T move simply because of the financial oppurtunity. there are a lot more things to consider should the oppurtunity be given to you. are you ready to start over in a place you may not be too familiar with. are you willing to possibly sacrifice a great relationship with your gf?...etc...

whatever happens i hope you get the offer.

 

If I were single and had no ties to this area, I would probably do it. Is this company in Boston? Might be a cool place to live and moving to a whole new place where you don't know anyone would be scary but a lot of fun.

People are going to think you're a freak though hahah

 

if you think that by holding out, you can get a good/better job in the bay area, then i would wait. MD is way out there; like dan said...you're leaving your friends & family.
