So with this exstention method, there is really no intent on showing up to the court date right? Because if there is no intent on showing up on the court date and doing the written declaration, then there is no need to worry if the arresting officer will show up or not, right?
and if he does and you are found guilty, you can then go to court again and contest it.
but if you wanna be tricky about it. you can get an extension, show up the next time around. if you so choose to do so.
i honestly needed an extension in the past, showed up the next time and no officer.
it was for a radar detector, which he claimed was a jammer.
so i showed up with all my paperwork saying it was and he didnt even show up.
i think the point is people dont usually contest tickets, i dunno why, and thats why most people dont know they have a fighting chance of getting out of it.
