Pho Kim long = Pho Y = pho Tao Bay = most likely pho garden = crap


Got damn!!! It happened There?!?!?!? Well **** that. I aint ever going back anyways.


I've ate there about 3-4 times in the past since I have resided in the SJ for the last 4 yrs or so. I even set up a pre-dinner meet there one time before Weds vajayjay and if you were there, you guys already heard my opinion on it.

Anyways..... my PHO tastic point of view..... pho there sucks. Theres 2 categories for me, Delicious PHO and crappy pho that give me no motivation to finish. Pho kim long belongs in the second category along with all the other pho shops in that swampy water. No motivation to finish, the broth is lacking authenticity and aroma (out of each time i've been there). Honestly just because The San Hoe is filled with viets dont mean they open good pho restaurants. Theres only one place I would consider going to get pho IF I WANTED TO STAY IN SJ for it...... and thats this spot in front of city hall. Other than that, I hate San Jose's pho. They got their **** ****ed up. Theres like 60, so why do so many of them taste like ***....... This is why I dont have PHO meets in SJ.

Maybe this should be taken to a Pho thread? LOL Since Pho Binh closed, I haven't found another good one.

 

I didn't swoop on a spot. I parked on the street.
I passed up two open spots because they were between minivans (door dings).

Honestly, the pho is ok. It's decent. Once you've had homemade pho, it's never going to be the same.

 

It doesn't matter what you did, that's still f*ed up. Some dickwad didn't have the ***** to say something to your face and waited until you left to scratch your car. Really? what are they, 12?

 

I have been searching for a spec b for a while now its kind of become and obsession/dream car of mine. The fact that someone would key one makes me very very sad. I hope everything works out for ya in the end. Who ever did it has some bad karma coming there way!
