Bump! I just started playing this 2 weeks ago at a friend's house. I've only played a couple dozen times and I was occupying myself with the challenge modes for Abel and Rose while my friends were playing poker. I completed Rose's challenges and I got through most of Abel's tasks, except for this one combo that involved a focus attack, cancel into a low fierce, and end it with an ultra combo. I could only get the first two hits or the low fierce into the ultra, but never in a successful combo. -_-
I haven't gotten into fighting games for the past decade and I don't own a 360 or PS3, so I think I did pretty good for a total newb. I normally use Rose or Abel (sometimes Crimson Viper, but I need to learn some quick combos with her and familiarize myself with her move set a bit more). I did learn an annoying combo with Abel that I use pretty often. Low fierce (double hit uppercut), then grab the opponent out of the air and throw 'em down (shoryuken motion). I did that to my friend a few times after I learned it tonight and he thought it was pretty obnoxious.
