anyone can do kanji, they'll just trace and fill in. the design tho it all depends. animals mean different things, crests and masks can be signs of anything from going to war to love.
Also check out Erik, Joey or Luke at 7th Son, they fill up quickly so call them asap. might as well drop in to get a consultation that way you can be ahead of the game, and when it comes down to tattoo time its faster.
Expect a minimum $100 deposit if you actually get consulted.
