I live in Danville, but I used to own a restaurant in Dublin, and after our live shows, I would go over to the Sunshine Saloon or Union Jack pub with band members/friends/groupies to down some mixed drinks!
I've drank many times at Dan's in W.C. (the seedy bar right behind Slates, owned by same owner), but now my bar hangout is the new McCovey's Sports Bar & Restaurant right around the corner from the Philly Cheesesteak shop (where the old movie theatre was).
They serve the best, stiffest drinks, really cool bar, brand new, big plasma screen TV's everywhere, great bartenders (Girls are mostly hot - Raquel is a hella fine bartender with GIANT jugs too!!!)

You think Dan's is seedy now? You should have seen the place in the eairly 90's. I used to be able to get in there when I was 19. I can't believe the W.C. po po didn't shoot him. They have to be the most anally retentive force in the nation.
