Funny, I saw tons of modified cars.... OK not like Skylines all hopped up running around in Hong Kong... but lotsa of exhausts among other things in KL and KK. I even saw them in Kampar (a *dinky* town about 20km south of Ipoh) and Teluk Intan (yeah, I went to see the clock tower ). He, Malaysia... the only place to see a turbo Proton, bwahaha, poor guys.

...is a highly policed state which I am sure you guys have heard about. There are pros and cons. Good in the sense we can walk around safely in the middle of the night but bad in the sense that modification to our cars is highly illegal. Especially power mods.

It is known that, modified cars have been 'mysteriously' reported to the authorities, where the car is impounded, scrapped, the owner fined and at times jailed. This has happened to me (not jailed but fined US$5000).

In our mixed up world, jealously can lead people to do weird things. Knowing that other people's car is more powerful, faster, etc, can lead idiots to write in and 'sabotage' another car.

So...

I hope that you all can understand the reason why our 'brotherhood' have to standby each other. The key word is being "HUMBLE" not to disclose our mods, not to brag about how fast and powerful our machines are, etc.

Unfortunately, Member (newbie) is opposite to all these. Always wanting to be better and thus wanting to know other peoples mods - see Member X email. Member X was previously know as Member Y and he has the quickest here with over xxx torque. I think Steve is familiar with him. Member (newbie) is after his mods! In fact, he has asked everyone in Country X whether I have changed engine! This carries a jail term!
