Just got back! 48.592+1=50.592, 49.694, 48.241+1=50.241 (doh!). I was shaving off a second on each run

Lots of subies in group 6 and we got to run on a wet course.

Also, good meeting you all: Glen, Gagan, xtremeyolks.

Info on the 8 hour road rally I mentioned, 'Angel's Crown', in San Luis Obispo in April is at: www.itnrally.org (discussed here, on Nasioc: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1200237)

I think a few of us are going down from the bay area so we'll probably caravan there and back. No helmet or roll-cage needed, but you'll need a co-driver.

Info on next weekend's Nor*Cal drive: https://www.i-club.com/forums/meetings-events-donuts-91/next-bigger-nor%2Acal-meet-march-4th-155617/

due to gf issues, i had to leave early

We have an autox on the 11th??

I just don't think my car will be ready. I don't know if i will have tires, other than that, the mileage will be on the car, and tires is pretty much the only thing I'd need.

There is tons of other work that needs to be done. Hopefully, things will work out. I feel I probably won't be competitive until summer.

Thumbs up

Fugly times, but as always still a blast. I think the long day got to me. I've been lucky before with my last run groups running on time. Today was just behind.
I thought I had it smoking on my third then I got lulled in that sweeper on the backside and coned !
The Rs-2's did better today than my last race but they still need more heat cycling.
Yeah, how'd you like the STS group just making their own track ? Heck even Boynton in his Porsche smoked it in the same spot.
Yeah,G. Our next race we're first rungroup.
I'll have pics of the first 3 rungroups within the next couple of days.
Hope to make it the next one. See you guys there !

I don't know who's car this was, but it looked awesome. Check out the CF canards. Also, the rear fender flares are built out using sheet metal (can't see the rivets in this shot).

there was this one guy in a black STi that came flying down the parking lot hitting the water puddles. truthfully it looked pretty cool and i was going to get him to do another run so i can get a better shot, but now thinking about it...it wasn't that cool. he was going, i would assume 40ish. hopefully it's not someone here, but if it is i'm not trying to point fingers with a shame on you. i'm just trying to say lets try not to make subarus look bad. honestly i wanted to whip some donuts in the back where all the dirt is. LOL
