You don't unless you find someone stupid enough to keep one as a pet. I grew up with them on the big island of Hawaii though I have never seen one that big. Biggest I have seen was about 6" long, and they are ****ing scary. They will kill small animals and they are VERY hard to kill. On a construction job we nailed a couple that were around 4-5" long to a wall and they lived over a week. There are also smaller very poisonous ones that are blue/black sorta. Nasty all around. A friend has scorpions and while they are scary, they are nothing compared to these guys.

Big island ftw... anyways between those and cane spiders, always a fun time. At least there are no snakes.
