I wish I could have said something by I was at a stop light and the tow truck going the other way. I would have had to chase them down and maybe catch him.

I don't get how tow workers are so ignorant of their jobs that they tow AWD cars like this.

I hope the owner of the subie gets fully
compensated.

is this available for 2002 WRX? I once had my car towed and specifically requested for a truck with a bed, but the guy told me about a switch like this.

No only for previous models, like 93-97.

I believe if it's an automatic, then it has it. While the fuse is there for the manual, it doesn't do anything.

So got my wifes VW TDI serviced today. They recommended I put A diesel only sticker on the car for the idiots in Oregon where you are not allowed to pump your own gas who keep putting regular gas in them.

Maybe we should have a similar sticker for idiot tow truck drivers so they use flat beds only to tow our cars.

Yup. I have one. I bought it on NASIOC about a year ago and put in above my vin. It basically says "warning, flat bed tow only, tow driver is responsible for damages if towed improperly."

The real question is do the tow truck operators even pay attention to them?
