Saw an STi beat a Lambo Gallardo in a drag race today
In san jose on Alum Rock about 6:30 this morning...
I was coming from down town in the right lane when I see a lambo coming up on me really quickly in the next lane, and right behind it was a black STi that had some considerable mods. The STi gets in from of me, lambo (Yellow with tint) in the next lane as we're at a red light. I can tell they are going to race due to the fact that they passed me going like 30mph faster then I was, and both are revved at the light.
Anyway, light turns green and they both launch pretty aggressively, enough to make their tires screetch... The STi caught ground almost instanly and pulled about a car length on the lambo.
The streets were pretty empty at the time, still pretty retarded to do something like that on such a busy street... I finally pulled up to the lambo and gave him a huge thumbs down... Not sure if he saw me or not cuz his tint was so dark... I couldn't catch up to the STi, then he got on the freeway.
It was a black 05 STi, I have the lic plate but wont post it... But it had the word "ARC" in it.
Really wide tires and really low. Stock STi attire, tint and a huge melon shooter. Both cars were LOUD AS HELL! I had my windows rolled down so I could hear them, and man, LOUD!
Anyway, I thought it was both cool and lame as it was a dangerous place to do this sort of thing... The cars reached speeds of probably 80ish mph.
