Saturday drive, 12/28 Geysers and Dirt
Since I'm working the afternoon and evening on Sunday, I'll be doing my little adventure drive Saturday.
The plan is to tour Geysers road up between Geyserville and Cloverdale, then from Hopland head up to Clear lake with a jaunt on dirt roads up to the NE before returning to the Santa Rosa area.
If you want to join me, here are 3 locations to meet up;
8:45-9:00 AM, (A little more reasonable than the 7am start, don't you think?) Pyramid Brewery Parking lot, 8th Street at Gilman in Berkeley.
I will be leaving there promptly at 9:00
9:25 to 9:40 AM, Marin Civic Center, parking lot off Armory drive, just SE of Civic Center Lagoon.
I will be leaving there promptly at 9:40
12:15-12:25 refueling at Hopland Exxon, US101 in Hopland. (That might actuall be a little early, Geysers road can take a while...)
Total drive time will be about 8 hours if we do the whole route I have planned.
Hope to see a few of you coming along, it should be fun.

You guys will be missing a fun drive, sliding around in the mud and all, sure nobody wants to join me?
(Next month I'll be heading up to the mountains, and snow, since Andy seems to be the only i-clubber who actually is interested in driving his car.)

Old summer tires.....
8000 mile old AVS intermediates with about 2/32 tread depth left.
They are pretty much on their last legs anyway- but especially on snow, they are pretty greasy, although I have to say they seem pretty grippy on waet pavement still.
