Another useless lawsuit from society's leeches.
And I don't think SJPD is stopping random citizens walking about and subjecting them to a field sobriety test. I'll bet these people were acting like idiots and drawing negative attention to themselves. Serves them right if they can't behave like adults in public.

Davis on Friday/Saturday night is equivalent to Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday night in Chico.
And Spoolin : you hit the nail on the head - frivilous lawsuit for something you should have the better mind to not do in downtown San Jose.

I never got into the 'let's go out and drink' phase.
It's cheaper, easier, funner and much more 'legal' to drink at your home.
I can't justify going to the bars every weekend night and spending $100+ on drinks at bar or spending $40 on two nice bottles of rum/whisky/scotch etc.

So any white chick with a Skynyrd t shirt and a short skirt probably lives in a trailer park? There are just to many people who can't think for themselves I guess it's much easier to be a follower than a leader.

Well, I don't think people charged with DIP should be treated the same as people charged with DUI.
DUI = you could kill yourself, others, or cause massive property damage.
DIP = worst case scenario you just kill yourself.

You must not be one to go out much. I go out on the regular to have some fun. It might not be your forte, but to say what you said is retarded. How is having some drinks then walking down the sidewalk to your friends car and happen to stumble and catch a cops attention breaking the law?

San Jose has so many Hispanics in it. And if a high percentage of them are getting drunk and being asses...well then they'll get arrested. Doesn't mean the cops are just not going to arrest 1,000 drunk Hispanics so that they don't seem like they're being mean. Stupid media.
