Anyone know where I could find a salvage yard in the bay area? To be specific, Im looking for the driver's side fog light for a 01-03 WRX. Mine ate a large sized screw...

If you guys know someone who doesnt need theirs anymore and is willing to let it go for a decent price...lemme know!

Kinda far from Brentwood, but you could make a trip on a weekend. I'm going this weekend. Rancho Cordova

I recall the fogs being relatively expensive. You might want to go with some Hella 500's or something. They're better anyway and pretty cheap.

wouldn't all the salt water be bad for parts if a wrecking yard was in the bay?
The drivers side foglight is always the one that takes the most rocks, so even in wrecking yards they will be in short supply.
I'd suggest you go aftermarket too, I used PIAA 530's (I think thats the model #?) and they are really awesome, a huge improvement over the stock fog lights.
PIAA's or Hellas are cheaper than the factory parts, and you can replace lenses on them when they catch a rock again- its bound to happen- instead of having to scrap the entire assembly like you do on the stock fogs.

Good idea...i didnt even really think bout it. So, is there any rewiring/cutting or special installation required for the hella 500's?
