I'll look for that. I definitely prefer dry beverages to sweet ones.

Do you remember if it was white/cloudy? If so that was the nigori variety which is the sweet kind.

The stuff that looks clear like vodka is the dry (or drier) stuff.

Don't know much about sake but I like the sweet unfiltered cloudy one. It's not so dry. I've had hot sake on a cold rainy day and honestly just tasted like watered down vodka. I don't really like that kind.

Both did the job though and def had a good buzz.

hot sake is more of a special ocassaion thing for us only on new years we have it. or like bitrhdays is like the "special" bday shot or what not. people who are in depth with sake usually will go with drier types. with my parents more like genshu and dont get tthe untreated mixed up with unfiltered too.

Only if it's cold and -20. I honestly prefer soju for a good buzz as it will DEFINENTLY sneak up on ya! If anyone has had it or been to Korea you know what I'm talkin about! Hell for $5/per 2ltr bottle you can't go wrong!

It is actually still in the fridge (I'm assuming all oxidized and nasty by now). I'll go snap a picture

Alright, here is the most recent stuff I've had. It's been open for probably about 10 weeks and surprisingly doesn't taste oxidized.
