Is it sad that McDonalds has to advertise that they use 100% beef?

Honestly though, I haven't had fast food in over a year, and the last time I did have it, it was In n' Out. Before that last In n' Out even, I don't know when I was last at a real fast food place. It's not that I made a ln effort to avoid fast food, but the taste just doesn't compare to small eateries around town. The thought of the taste of fast food doesn't even appetize me.
monterey bay? no wonder...plenty of delicious food around there!

I think in the past they used to use soy in the burgers as a filler as most places do. But still now even though they say 100% beef its still not saying much cus it tastes nasty. I don't think there is a fast food burger that i do like.. Nothing like making your own.
I've been getting 3xmeats at INO (no cheese) and are the closest thing to a bbq burger...BK's whoppers are like bbq too with all the veggies mmm. once you get over the meat quality haha.

Main Street Burger is a must try (in Los Gatos at the corner of the park) and their shoestring fries are sooo good.

the McD's doubel cheeseburgers are the best

btu now mcdonalds is gettin cheap and they have the McDouble, which is like a double cheeseburger minue 1 slice of cheese. cheap bastards.

anyway, there is tons of filler that are put in meat. i am not so worried abotu where it comes from cuz it all still has to pass usda standards and whatnot. its more the filler protiens and salts and other **** they add to it.

as said before if it said like 68% beef i might be worried.

and as far as the chicken nuggets go i liked them better when they had a little dark meat in them. the all white meat ones taste to dry and deep fried.

but like bryan said.

they have the BEST french fries and the ketchup taste better for some reason.

100% beef is the name of the company that they own that makes their patties... If they said 100% USDA beef then that would mean something, but because it's the name of their company then it gives a veil of truth. In fact their patties have a large portion of soy protein.

McDonalds is a pretty sorry excuse for a fast food place... It was good when we were kids, and the only reason I'll eat there is when I'm in a nostalgic mood and I'll only eat their plain hamburgers with extra onion and ketchup.
That is all for today's deep thoughts by brucelee.
For shame Daniel...... A hamburger just implies that its a round pattie between two buns. It could be made out of anything...... buffalo, beef, turkey, chicken, ostrich, elk, emu, lamb, venison, reindeer......

Yeah, I know burgers can be made out of anything, but they were originally beef. Actually, hamburgers aren't very old and were introduced into the culinary world fairly recently (like a little over 100 years ago IIRC).
