Sacramento Golfers?
Hey, my dad wants to play this summer sometime. Anyone here golf in the Sac area that can give me a decent course? Nothing too expensive. My mom and wife might want to go also, so any 9 holers?
I used to shoot in the low 90's, but that was ages ago. 3 straight months of golf after college while I tried to find a job. I haven't even swung a club in almost a year. bleh...
thanks,
ryan

I've since given up on golf, but I used to play a couple times a week when I was out at NEC in Roseville. Across the street there is this awesome Muni course that looks like a country club. Reasonable pricing and you can play 9 if that's what you want. Woodcreek Golf Club
Sac has some really nice courses as well, but they cost more:
Turkey Creek - Lincoln
Twelve Bridges - Lincoln
Whitney Oaks - Rocklin
Ridge - Auburn
Serrano - El Dorado Hills

There's also some quaint little Muni courses in EG. One right off the freeway, and another's by a Taco Bell or something. The bunkers are more like concrete basin's, though I had to buy a new 60 degree after playing outta one.
