difference between homeless guy asking for money and a site owner asking members to pay for his honeymoon.....

Homeless person is 1)homeless 2)needs money for food and whatnot

site owner 1)has money 2)wants you to pay for him to have a nicer honeymoon

the bum is not asking you to give him luxuries (sp? I'm tired). the site owner IS asking you to provide him with luxuries. If you fail to see the differences, try living as a bum for a year

as for the original topic: I personally think its tacky and in bad taste....live within your means. However, its the members choice to contribute money.

on a side note...I'm starting a fund for everyone to help buy me an Gruppe-S built race engine and an STi tranny

EDIT: as for the comment about the wedding registry comment. Having a wedding registry and getting gifts is a tradition. If he were asking for people to donate for a nice honeymoon instead of a wedding gift, that'd be different. Wedding gifts=birthday gifts......pay for my honeymoon=I want to do something I havent earned the money for, so you pay for it
