I went to start my car this morning and the alternator died. Called Ron Price to see if they could check it out if I got it towed there and they referred me to their new service center on 640 O'Farrell. Made service nice and convenient, they even dropped me off at work with their shuttle service. I'm under warranty still and they told me that as long as they didn't find a squirrel in the alternator, it would most likely be covered. Everything turned out ok, they replaced the alt, and I was able to pick it up after work.

PS. anyone else with a yellow wagon take it there for service today? I was surprised to see one parked right next to mine.

... but i'll proabbly still take my car there since they have a downtown location. i work 6 to 6 in the financial district so its almost impossible to get my car to their SSF location.

 

Was the shuttle service an 05 STi?

 

nevet dealt with their service department. but their sales sucks!

 

I agree Ron Price sux! Take your REX to Carlsen, by far the best service in the bay area.... plus they are not prickish about mods.

that's a new spot down on o'farrell... Carlsen's pretty cool. but their service manager JOHN SUEY is an a$shhole!. wasn't too professional, what a d!ickhead... mostly everyone else there i've dealt with are pretty cool.

 

i notice all service mgrs are *********. is that a job requirement?
