it's enough to get some runs open. But I'd stay out of the trees til' january at this rate.

Damn, Jeremy! You ain't kidding, huh?

It'd be nice to get my ol' bones on the slopes, but I still have another week & half of school. I'm sure the few resorts open will be rocking on Sat w/ some natural freshies & plenty o' sun on those handful of rideable runs. And that should be plenty for the first time out for the season.

Have fun. We'll definitely hook something up this season, bruddah!

Learn To Ride/Ski For Only $25 ! ! !

Just wanted to pass this along to y'all...
http://www.gotahoenorth.com/events-a...orthshore.html

*EDIT*
Learn to Ski or Snowboard - Learn More on the Northshore
December 08, 2007-December 09, 2007

Hey first timers! Learn to ski or snowboard during the greatest winter deal of all time! For only $25.00 per day you receive a group lesson, gear rental and a beginners lift ticket at any of our 9 ski resorts: Alpine Meadows, Boreal, Northstar, Diamond Peak, Homewood, Squaw Valley, Sugar Bowl, Mt. Rose and Granlibakken. Offer valid both days. Ski one resort one day, and another the next. Don't miss this. Please contact your favorite resort for tickets.
Not all of these resorts are open yet so they're obviously not included in this offer. At this point, my check of their websites says that Alpine, Boreal, Northstar & Squaw are for sure for this weekend. Looks like Diamond Peak is postponing their deal for a mid-week offer in Jan.
*EDIT*

Many of the resorts in North Tahoe have been offering this AMAZING deal for several years! It's a great way to get some folks to try out "our addiction" for the first time. I remembering bringing one of my co-workers to Sugar Bowl a few years back, and she had a blast (read: she didn't mind eating ish time & time again)!

So, if any of y'all know someone that could benefit fr: this deal... pas it along to them!

Happy Sliding!
