I have some pow skis that are ready to be thrashed as I just got brand new replacements. Im still not gonna go crazy in the off piste being I want these rock skis to be skiable for a few more seasons. Im counting on Jordan to help out with terrain selection being he knows the mountain, would be nice if you came allong Ray.

But yes everyone needs to be careful going off piste.
A couple of digs or core shots is one thing. Hitting a buried rock that kicks you off balance causing you to perhaps fall and without a solid base hitting a buried rock and potentially seriously injuring yourself is not good though.

Be safe everyone!

Ya that's very true. I've been tempted on buying and wearing a spine protecter, same that motorcycle riders wear. Saw some skier at Kirkwood wearing what looked like something he made at home, a piece of hard plastic around his lower back held by a couple straps

I might have to bail on the Bear Valley plan on sunday. Looks like Mt Rose is in my sights now 8500 base elevation will help with this warming trend no doubt.

Today officially sucked dick at northstar! I was drenched within 30 mins. Took 3 runs and left. Felt bad for my boy cause he actually paid $72 for a day pass, until we sold it for $60 to some lady lol. A day is a day, but hands down the worse conditions. Thumbs down to the star! Broken my elbow, clavicle, lost my car keys, took a rock shot to the spine... KIRKWOOD ALL DAY EVERY DAY

Yea I don't know why people insist on going to N*. Its low *** elevation, its flat, and its expensive.

God hates Northstar...

Ya bro it'll be good, just hoping the snow levels stay at 7k or below. BA posted that the highest snow elevations would occur from 4pm today till 4am sunday morning. Hoping that stays true. Fingers crossed

Im gonna keep watching the doppler radar lol

To me terrain parks don't sell me on where to go riding but thats just my opinion. Never been in to parks, always preferred finding natural hits throughout a mtn.
If you like big steeps and chutes, Kirkwood is the place to go to. Their park is ok, but then again Kwood isn't known for their parks

I'm talking more about rails and kinked boxes. Jumps hell yeah natural cliffs like at Vail are so much fun! I wish we had something like that here in California but I have skied south shore and north shore and haven't found anything yet
