Yea I'm getting there. Still have so much to unpack and get clean and yardwork that needs to get done. But the more days pass the more I think about it. Especially the anger I feel that I paid $300 last year and need to get that ***** paid off before this year is up. As long as we have snow starting February 17th, I have every Friday off from the 17th of February to the 30th of March. 3 day trips here I come.

Looks like a SubaBrew PowderHound party up in here.... up in here.

Justin: Grats to you & Dawn on the new home purchase! Btw, didn't ya know that living so close to the Central Valley & saying "drought" is a no-no?

I wouldn't say we've got a drought... just a different La Niņa than we had last year. Last season, we had a good Dec, then dry fr New Year's til near Valentines. Then a decent March ending w/ a rogue winter storm in April.

While I highly doubt we'll be able to make up the precip totals, I'm hoping we get to at least near 80% of normal by the time this season ends. No immediate H2O concerns b/c our reservoirs are full now, but it'd be nice to know we won't have to worry abt our water supply longer-range. I'm BBQ'ing on Sun to help appease the mighty Ullr. Make on the rain, baby, make it rain!

Yeap, my brother was here for 2 weeks from Colorado and it was colder in Tracy than it was in Colorado lol I'm going to have to look into making my own snow machine and make some overnight lol

It was really sad going up to be honest. Knowing what it SHOULD be like right now...but after accepting that it is what it is, I had a good time.

I'm up in Arnold with friends at the cabin... I'll try and make a trip to bear valley if anyone is interested in seeing any pics or anything.
I'm hoping the parking lot is iced over.

I was quoting the article stating drought. But thanks man, it's nice to have our own place.

If you want to make your own snow... here are some plans on this site. Free Home Snowmaking Machine Plans - SN Snowmaking 2011-2012

I bought all the parts and am going to assemble it when I get back home, but the weather has to be 27 degrees or lower to make snow. I'm hoping we get that low in sac so I could have a little backyard jib session.

I didn't get pics on the drive but I did just get this pic a few minutes ago of some snow in my back yard. It was snowing pretty hard all night. Things should be even better up higher I would imagine (hope).
