I just got back from a weekend in heavenly. The snow was surprisingly pretty good! Had a great time except I broke my f*cking collarbone today....looks like I won't be utilizing my season pass for awhile

I actually thought about letting people borrow it for a small fee but I don't know what measures they have to prevent people from doing that. They have those scanners that can read your pass under your clothes, so how do they verify that it's actually you?

After snowboarding for ten years I finally broke down and bought a season pass for the first time. But of course when I have it there's no snow!

We need some seriously major dumpage in January, feel like I wasted my money... hope that won't end up being the case.

Dude... you don't know the half of it. Jordan went up this weekend... opening weekend and all. Sent me a photo... I'll shoot it over to you right now.

Sad... very sad.

If you call them TODAY they usually have injury stuff in place... if you bought the insurance. Even if you didn't, they might have some pitty on you since it was literally the first day. You might be able to talk them in to canceling the pass for this year and giving you one for next year... then you'll just have to pay for your tickets this year.

ON a side note. I friggin HATE heavenly. The only way I'll go there is to go ride those fire gates. Damn near every time I go there i get hurt. Last time I nearly broke my back.

this weekend was my first time there actually, so I'm one for one on injury days at Heavenly.

It's a cool mountain though, I'm looking forward to checking it out when it's caked in snow.

I'll call them tomorrow to see if I can get some sort of refund. If I can't it's no big deal, I should be healed by mid Feb and there should be plenty of good riding after that.

AGREE! firegates, north woods, and cal glades sometimes but that place is so lame and overrated.

Sidenote of my own...WHERE THE F IS THE SNOW?!?!

Yea send me over the pic when you get a chance Ray, I'm sure its a pathetic amount of snow.

I'll be up in the Pinecrest/Strawberry area this weekend with the family... probably will roll by dodge ridge to snap a few pics.
