Oh no Hibernation chair is a goner?! It was my cool down special after coming off of Tiggers Traverse I'm way outta the loop, Bear Valley is my old stomping ground, grew up on that mountain, worked and played there.

It's definately NOT too bad that they didn't put it on the front. The chair they are replaceing was in desperate need of replaceing. It was one of the oldest operational lifts in the country. I'm not kidding. I talked with one of the guys up there and he told me that people would laugh...meaning potential buyers of the resort and other industry people...when they heard what they were running.

The lift was 16 minutes long.

They have plans to replace the 2 chair going up the front and run a lift from the village up to the top of koala.

Oh and on a side note. I have a 163 Santa Cruz Duo Venom. 04/05 I think it is. Doesn't have that many days on it as I blew my knee out. I want to pick up the same board...new version of it. If anyone is interested drop me a line. I'll give you a good deal.

If you could give me a deal i'd definitely want it. I found a 163 duo beta a year or two ago i've been riding, i'm only 5"10 but it's the only size I could find for a good price. If you want to make me a sweet deal i'd love to pick up another powder board even though i really want a smaller (157 or 8) more park oriented board but I love powder and I love the duo's so.....pm me a price or something.

I GOT MY PASS TO KIRKWOOD!!! Whens the first trip???

shiet I shoulda went to sierra

I went to heavenly (had a free lift ticket), I didnt pick up all seasons in time and didnt want to run advan Ae048s in the snow, so I was with the chain gang in my gfs accord, man was it slow going (4hrs each way)

Never again! And only a few runs at heavenly were open, winds at the top on the NV side were wicked

So yeah, Sierra/N-star for the rest of the season (in the evo for snow days, getting my pzero neros on wednesday)

Cool

I'm not going to get a chance to go up until after Christmas . Unless I decide there's going to be enough fresh to sneak up there for a day It all depends on mother earth.
