OMG! What in the blue hell is Jordan rockin' the "Have a Nice Day" jib stick noodle?!? That is awesome!
I'm thinking of hitting up Bear on Fri to use the comp I got from the SnowBomb Snow&Beer Festival. Then I'll finally have double digits days on the mtn. Woohoo!

I found some decent pockets of pow here & there. Maybe 6" inches in spots... dust on crust or concrete mostly though.
I was actually surprised how uncrowded it was that day. I'm not a huge fan of the place due to the insane amount of folks who pour into the place for only being a mid-sized resort. Me & my bro bought the Fast Pass for the day. Helped out when catching the gondola from the get-go, on the backside chair an hour or so later, then loading up on Vista during our handful of park laps toward the end of the day. Overall, it probably only got us a couple more runs in.

I also did Squaw today w/ a different set of buddies. My bro drove my wagon back yesterday, while I stayed behind & crashed @ an acquaintance's Alpine Meadows condo.
We hit all 5 peaks. We didn't actually hike up to each one but caught all the lifts that took you damn close. Not bad for 25 bucks... not bad at all. Again, surprisingly enough, it was not crowded at all! Lotsa fun cruising groomers, hunting out the powdah pockets in the trees, hucking rocks & a seshing thru the medium park.
*EDIT* I forgot to say that I saw a red Leggy wagon w/ FLI stickers on each rear cargo-area side windows on I-80 thru Auburn. My buddy driving his Scion xB kinda had to cut the dude off to catch the exit for In N Out.

I am at 22 days this season so far, planning on 3-4 more, but all backcountry spring riding. I fully intend on going up to Sonora Pass after the road opens and until then, finding a few spots lower down on the road.

My shoulder hurts, but those were more my own fault.
Bear on Saturday was pretty epic. The snow was so fast and there were untouched lines in so many areas. Definitely a few snipers out there trying to ruin your day, but otherwise it was a great day.
Sunday was nice for me and my never summer. I was having a blast hitting the cuts and getting fresh lines. And then still finding pockets in the trees. But the traverses were glue and dangerous.
