Sweet cave, Steve!

that drunk cave is bigger then it looks, about 12 feet deep!!

Along w/ the heavy snowfall late Thur & all day Fri, it looks like the wind is gonna be howling even more than last week. The forecast is telling me that lifts will be shut down completely on Fri w/ possible holds on Thur & maybe a late opening on Sat. Being that I called last week's VERY limited lift service on Thur, I'm confident I'll be 2 for 2 for the most part. It just sucks what I'm being right about.
Ya< I stay at my brothers gf's house a lot of the times when we go up, but if she can't go then I use my free rooms at the casinos. I got like 3 days I still did not use this month!! And one more thing why the hell have we not shreaded the mountain together!! we could f some stuff up!!.

also that cave me and steve made is really deep you just can't tell from the picture haha

That can be a good thing.... that means I will still have many fresh lines when I go up pn monday!!

Cliff... don't worry about it dude. I'm fat. I need breaks or I die. LOL!

Sorry for almost running you over.... TWICE!!!!

Got at least one of them on film... then I looked down and my toe strap was off. haaaa.

You gotta remember... Jordan has been riding behind me for like 16 years or something like that. I had to wait for him A LOT until like the last 3 or 4 years. Next year imma lay the smack down on him... I sware I'm gonna come in to next season at 220 or so. This 265 stuff don't work out so good... well 265 last year and 245 this year... so I'm on pace. LOL!

He still won't admit when I out do him. LOL. Like the one cornice hit we took back to back... I went bigger. haaaa.

I prefer staying close together to loosing someone. Riding with my homies is one of my favorite things to do in this world. There's times folks are waiting on me. Seriously... I look forward to our trips all year long.

So we still have to put together the official trip.
April 16th is Raggae on the mountain and Jib fest.
April 9th has a first tracks option
May 1st is the slush fest. And it's the season pass lunch. Think free tri-tip or bbq or some crap like that. I'd like to be up there so I can pick up my mug!

I'm thinking the 16th. They usually do a micro brew day. It'll be a bit more crowded but a lot of people take it easy and just drink on that day so if we get a late season storm the riding will be sick. I think we will. Last time we had a January like this we were getting smashed for most of April.

Jordan, Justin and I all have passes. Cliff... might be a good idea if you can pull it off. Especially if we're gonna do our trip late in the year. The $299 season passes should go on sale toward the end of March. If you pick one up you can ride the rest of the season on it and have it paid off for next season.

It's the way to go. I've missed out the last two year and had to pony up full price. Was $450 this year. No way I'm missing the $299 this year. Even if I have to sell some more ****.

And you know that you'll get the days in. That's 5 days dude! FIVE!

I've seen some that have the hidden security ear bud thing. That might work good, since it's small in the ear. Trying to fit a bluetooth piece under the helmet might be difficult unless we find really slim ones. Remember like the ones we used at Molly's.

It's particularly fun keeping track of speeds on the slopes, of my 47 runs yesterday I exceeded 49 mph on 29 of them and had a top speed for the day of 60mph. Top speed so far this season was up around 87, I hope to see triple digits in Canada on the speed track.
Damn! Now that is fast. Skis are faster than snowboards as well (sounds like you ski). My fastest time I have recorded is 59.2 on my Garmin Oregon. The only thing I don't like about the GPS is that it doesn't take into account what your speed across the given terrain is, only what it is on a horizontal plane. I am sure I have passed 60, but it isn't recorded. My goal is to break 65 this season. That will be a chore at Dodge. On Quicksilver, there is a good long downhill with a good sized flatter runout, so if I catch that on a nice and hardpacked morning, I might be able to do it.

Was my fault for mis-reading your hand signal. I simultaneously saw ZERO tracks & your gesture, then thought you were suggesting, "Behold! We've got lines to carve up!
Yea you were making far better time than I would have for sure. Especially going up hill like that, the board across method is all I ever saw as well. That other guy was just swimming up the hill. It was strange but effective.

You need to try to do it on bobby's freedom run or the run next to it. Good luck though! I'll watch. lol That's some intense numbers. Mad props you guys.

That's exactly what I was talking about. Looks like this...

I've used 'em in the past when riding. When the day calls for using the comm, I'll likely go back to it since my new jacket only one chest pocket compared to my last one w/ two.

Yea, one of them is on film. I was watching that one. I'm gonna take my laptop to work tomorrow to work on some editing and get this banged out.

It was tons of fun. One of the better days this season. So tired after that though.

The one I saw was a clear one, you wouldn't even be able to tell. Like secret service style.

Cliff, remember when we made the cave and used it to scare people when we rented those snowmobiles like 3 or 4 years ago. Only big enough to fit you in it.

Yeah, I have bombed down those before, but mostly for those runs, they are not quite as smooth of runs and there isn't a good runout. Fools Gold is ok though if you stay towards the left of the run though.

Nice to have those accommodation options, man.

I don't have a pass this yr, so I resort hop for deals. It's been my M.O. since I started riding. A couple years back, I did pick up Kirkwood's mid-winter pass. I know you're a Triple Whammy'er. The next time I have Sierra locked in my sights, I'll ping ya.

And don't feel bad though. Last season or the yr before, me & Steve (XxSTi05xX) exchanged cell #s to meet up @Kirkwood & we kept criss-crossing each other. By the time one of us got to where the other said they were, we had moved on.

The motto is: No friends on a powder day!

Justin, I figured the ones y'all used bouncin' were Secret Squirrel style.

Dayum! I totally forgot that we dug that TINY @$$ "burrow." Caves are like what 04caliwrx & XxSTi05xX dug. Even you could chill like they be posin'.

And I knew Ray caught that on vid, and that was the minor close call. The major one was on Lunch. Right where the groomer ended as we're all stopped, I lost balance & had to sit right as Ray was coming in HOT behind me. He almost razored me across my tramp stamp.

snowflow & kyle16: I'll hit you guys up when I make it out to Dodge next month. I'm hoping I could swing a day to use my Mon-Thur comp that goes into effect in a few weeks. I dunno if I'll be able to hang w/ y'all. My full Beast Mode is likely a bar or three down from y'all.

Yeah, I knew you looked "trimmer" since I had last seen y'all @BAM.

I remember last year, whenever you & Jordan dropped the Cornice, it seriously looked like y'all were suspended in the air for a split second. Then, whoop! Y'all would disappear to been seen later charging down toward the trees or maching it down the cat track. Always stoked me out to witness that! And yeah... your drop-ins were usually a bit bigger than his.

I vote for the 16th, too. If we set up the official annual on Reggae wknd, I'm pretty sure I can swing that in a couple months. And while it ain't on the calendar, I hope they do the BrewFest that wknd, too... like the last couple times.

As far as picking up a pass... at 3 bills, I'd have to go at least 8 times to make my $ back. With deals & discounts I manage to find, I avg just shy of $40/day on lift tix. I still have a Mon-Fri comp for Bear to burn along w/ a Mon-Thur comp for Dodge that I mentioned earlier. But hell... $300 is a great deal! So quit trying to tempt me as I'm trying to get locked-in on finishing up my degree!

Finally, I dunno if I've mentioned it already, but thanks so much again to you & your fam for hosting us. Like you, I look fwd to shreddin' & BS'ing w/ the Crew every year.
