Should go. Can meet us at the brewery on friday.

If you head up roll by my pad. Just turn at the bank of america. Head up the hill. Left at the millwoods sign. first right. first left. you'll see us. 44.

For any of those that were asking about the pass holder purchase price for day passes. Last season was $45. Price for this season isn't listed. So I'd think $45-50 is what I get them for. I'll try and call tomorrow and confirm

You have any board sport experience?
It could be the first day or it could take weeks man.

So start praying for a storm people. We've been blessed so far every year... lets keep the streak alive.
Even knowing that I was gonna have limited days this season, I already had my mind set on making our annual trip a MUST! And since it looks like we'll be in full force this year, there's no way I can miss out, right?

Hell, if I didn't already have plans to be in San Diego this wknd, I'd be joining y'all this Fri!

When I get back, I should have a better idea of what days I'll be in on for the 28th-30th. For now, I'm thinking of riding Fri & Sat, then heading back on Sun when y'all roll out for another day on the mtn.

Last edited by boardoholic; 01-12-2011 at 11:48 PM. Reason: clarify possible plans to head back early on Sun the 30th

For this Fri, 14 Jan, ONLY... the Sierra Avalanche Center has $20 lift tickets to Bear Valley available for pre-purchase. That's HUGE savings compared to the walk-up price of $62.

Go here (http://www.sierraavalanchecenter.org/) for more info on this (and other resorts & dates) to help support a worthy organization. And hurry as they only offer a limited number of these specially-priced tix! I recall them selling out for a day I wanted to hit up last season.

Also, I dunno how many times several of us have mentioned this online resource for lift ticket hook-ups, but here it is again...
http://slidingonthecheap.com/deals/all.shtml Bookmark it. 'Nuff said.

ive been once, even had those lessons. i did pretty well, i picked up fast. i really didn't fall. i can stop pretty easy heel side, toe side not so well. i was using a freestyle board. im goofy. doing that exercise where your board just sideways going down, i found myself in switched position and road pretty well. i got the "falling leaf" technique they teach you no problem.

Nice! Be sure to connect w/ OneManArmy & bluwrxwgn. Our crew doesn't really ride park like you do, but the freeriding exploits you've also posted about sounds a lot like what we dig about the mtn!

And if I didn't mention SOTC or this Fri's SAC fundraiser, what kinda knuckle-dragger would I be? Gotta spread the shred, eh?

Ya, I will. And i'll likely be coming up with my friend who has the pass.

FYI guys, backcountry is my number one love on my board. Cliffs, chutes, huge powder lines, tree runs..... Park is ONLY for when there is no powder.

Don't get my friend wrong either, he dresses in the 3xl tall technine style but sometimes he blows me away in the powder.
