So stoked to be back from icy NY. Finally heading up tonight. Is there still some powder left out there or is it all destroyed by now? Thinking about hitting up Sierra tomorrow since I'm blacked out at N* until Saturday....

Edit: I highly doubt it's going to snow much. Maybe trace amounts...maybe.
This 165cm powder board. OMG OMG OMG OMG is amazing in the powder. I can't wait for the next storm now and get on the snowmobile and go do some real backcountry on it. As for Dodge Ridge, I did some serious trailblazing and cliff lines today. Basically just blasted off as many cliffs as fast as possible and just floated forever.

Me and my gf just rode Dodge Ridge and had a great time. Few inches of powder through the trails, and found some deep (chest deep) powder here and there. Loved the no-lines, excellent conditions and trails even though the trails weren't the longest. But taking Chair 7 to the top gave us a lot of options for riding. Can't wait for tomorrow!

Edit for addition: Oh, and no probs on the link. It is the best I have found for forecasting snow. I am assuming you had to end up using the chains today. I saw some people on Dodge Ridge Road (mind you one that had 4wd having lots of trouble).

Nice, was there today as well. Find some good pow between Bobby's and Claim Jumper? That is where I found the best today. Also the cliffs past Sun Bowl was great as well and you can bomb down the mini chutes. Boulder Canyon on the other hand... not so great. Finally got to try out my Jones Flagship in some good pow and it did not disappoint in the least bit.

Yeah we ended up using the chains when the roads got really icey which luckily was less than 10miles or so from Dodge Ridge. We seen people pulled over a ways away from the resort putting their chains on when the roads were still really clear. Think they saw the chain installers in their bright green suits and thought it was a mandatory install point hahaha
