I plan on getting a larger sd card but you can take over 45 mins of 1080 with the 2mb that it comes with.
I dig it!
That sucks. I may have to pick up 2 extra batteries. Just in case. Good to see a local person with it and a video to go with it. Did you use the software from the website to do the editing?

Oh and are you recording in the Action HD? Or the 1080p one? I would like to see a difference in the 1080p at 30fps and the 720p at 60fps.

I want to get a netbook/ultra portable laptop so those trips where I'm gone for 2-4 days I can get the videos off the card to be able to continue recording.
I picked up my hp netbook for this reason. (and road trips and logging/tuning)
$299. It's kind of silly not to.

I used movie maker. I might pick up Premier or something but wmm is free and simple.
I leave it on Hi mode and like I said the 2gb will get almost an hour of footage.

I was mostly looking to see with the higher fps, how the footage will be. It's pretty clear with the 1080p setting you had, but I guess having it at the 30 fps, I didn't quite feel the speed you were going. Looked like slow motion.

Your video did make me miss the Wood. I had a season pass there 3 years in a row.

Yea, I saw a laptop, 11.6, so not the netbook, had 3gb RAM and 250gb HD and 8 hours of battery life, only weighed 3.1 lbs. $400+ though. I've been looking frequently for sales.

This is my first year with a wood pass and I'm loving it. I only head out there if it just dumped though. It's about 40 mins when Sierra or Heavenly is only 12 mins away from me.

The extra $100 is worth it for the full version of windows and a dvd player.

It's suppose to snow today, tomorrow, and sunday. Hopefully the road conditions will be good enough to where I can drive up there with my lady and bro in law to go riding this sunday.
