I'm at Squaw until Saturday. The weather was awesome today and it wasn't crowded at all. Thinking about hitting N* Saturday though... we'll see.

I bet it was fun with all this powder that's been falling. I like squaw after a heavy snow.

They are onsale on Amazon right now. This one and the lesser one without the gps which is a bigger sale, $107 off the list price.
Did you get the GPS one or the HD one? I'm trying to decide...

Picked up the GPS one. I'll see how it is, they are both the same, the GPS one just plots your location, elevation and speed.

It's still on sale on Amazon so it appears.

Anyone heading up this Sunday? I would like to hit the slopes at least once before I have to go to Afghanistan. I'm not good enough to do the park stuff, but I can just tool around on my own. I would also cover your gas for the trip.

Oh yeah, I live in Sac.

Thanks.

So i'm getting a Singal proform to, and i'm not sure which board to get. I need a good park board/fun jibby board, but it needs to stand up to big jumps. I've had 3 park series already and broke all of them. I wouldn't mind a rocker, but they're no good for jumps. Ugh, I hate these kind of decisions. Maybe the park again....buy maybe a 154 instead? ugh.
I just picked up an Arbor Coda 153 that i'm loving. Been out 5 days now and have 0 complaints.
Awesome edge control, good flex, great pop and super stable for a rocker when bombing it.
I'm now an Arbor fan for life.

That's cool. I hear they're good boards. I have to get either a Signal or Smokin' since that's the only boards I can get from my sponsorship.

I guess i'm gonna go with a 154. Hopefully it will hold up to the big jumps better than the 151 did!

Free boards are great if they're boards that you actually want to ride. Such a catch 22.
Either way, have fun!

True true. It's tough for me since I was a board to do everything, but that's why I keep a few boards. The signals I like best are either super soft and lights (the ones I break) or the matt hammer's which are really stiff and poppy, but I can't press them out too much. I've been so tempted to try a rocker. All my friends are rocking them this year.

Rocker boards have both regular and reverse camber right? Would a 156 be too big for what you want?

Ya, some are hybrid with regular camber between the feet and some are just like a banana and reversed camber throughout. 56 is probably too big for me. I'm already getting a signal park. I'll just try one of my friend's boards to see if I even like it.

It looks like I will be heading to N* tomorrow. Message me your # if you want to connect. I will be there around 9. I'm a decent boarder, but I haven't done any park.
