Lance, I dunno if you caught my quickie report fr my season opener on Wed. But here it is... Post #2186.
I got a few new grooves on my rocker during my off-piste adventures.

I dunno how many more feet of snow they've gotten since Wed afternoon, but all areas should be golden by now. If there are any questionable sections still, we should be 100% WORRY FREE by Xmas Day. The forecast calls for anywhere from 28" (base) to 42" (peaks) over the next few days!

lance... later in the season I might take you up on that. Still need another 5 feet or so of fall and foot of base before I'd risk someone elses pow board.

Justin... if you see this... I have the 23rd to the 5th off. Lets ride.

Anyone Down To Hit Up Northstar For The Day Tomorrow?!?

I've checked w/ the regular & the not-so-regular folks I roll with, but no takers so far! Anyone wanna ride N* tomorrow?

I have a voucher that's good for either N* or Sierra. I'm leaning towards N* ONLY b/c they've got a bit more terrain open and have been at it a bit longer so far this season than Sierra. Plus, I just called Sierra & they're not planning to open the El Dorado chair (my fave) for a couple more days. But both spots will work.

Anyone?

Ray, keep me posted on exactly when you'll be in Arnold. I'm looking to catch a day up on the slopes on New Year's Day (maybe NY Eve's depending on weather)!

I was at Sierra last saturday, and saw a few subies at the parking lot. We had a good time, but it's still nothing like fresh powder.

We'll be out there again next saturday, 27th!

I just got back from Kwood sunday... I only ran blue runs as my son is still learning but we had a great time. It seemed a lil more crowded Sat afternoon but the weather was sweet.

We couldn't hit any ravines or terrain tho, still a lotta rocks off the groomers.

Grommed runs were pretty well covered few spots here and there that are marked. I dropped into to some of the ravines, but still alot of rocks showing, I say by this upcoming weekend everything should be well covered. Another 6'-8' should do it.

Too bad I'm too damn low on the senority list to get any good days off. But I'd be up for the weekend of the 3rd-4th. We have to go to Fresno this coming weekend.
