Reputable Subaru mechanic close to Hercules (East bay)?
I need to get my uppipe installed on my 04 wrx, and I'm not sure if I can drive all the way out to places like Fremont or Novato to have it done. I've had my CEL on for quite a while, and the couple times I had checked it, the codes were the P1312, and the P0546. I haven't checked lately, though I'm thinking it's still the same codes. But, whenever I drive for an extended period of time, now, my engine temperature rises, leading me to ultimately pull over and let my engine cool down. I'm guessing that the EGT readings affect the cooling of the engine, somehow (though, if you've got some input on this, i would appreciate it).
Ultimately, I'd love it if someone could give me some contact info on some place close to the Hercules/Richmond/Berkeley area that could install my uppipe, and do a good job. Heck, I'll even pay a private party to install it given we write out some agreement, and you've had some experience and the tools. I'll even toss you a meal, and some good company. I really need to get my CEL off, though, since it's my daily driver, and it's been affecting driveability. Thanks advance for any help anyone can give!
(P.S. for those that might be wondering, these issues, ultimately, arose from previous application of a BOV - which (duh) I will never use again beneath 350+ HP)
