downside to this if running stock is ecu learning, on a stock tune or tuned flash this would most likely make the car run lean.
I got an ecutek reflash with only an uppipe, once I added a free flowing downpipe(still with stock 3rd cat) my car started running lean because I opened up the air flow.
One of the local tuners (Moike or Ed) might be able to better comment on this though.
Maybe a cobb accessport would be enough with 2 custom maps?

I wonder what map the accessport could be swapped over to for running in the open header mode? I personally have never ventured past my stage one mapping but I see the accessport as a handy tool to have with something like this.

well i have an ecutek reflash, so i'd probably have to get a tuner to get two maps. Would it be worth it to get a second tune for this? ... do you think with a proper map, this setup can give u 30-40 whp gain with a vf34?
