i think it was in a magazine once too... *shrug* i think the road sucks... its short, too many blind turns, too many pedal pushers, and the speed limit is fairly low.

haha funny you mention gravel.

Redwood road is a paved road, but as of late, there is helluv gravel on it...making it suck.

Cops DO sometimes hang out in the parking lots for the regional park areas, so don't bomb too hard.

I used to drive this road, along with Pinehurst, Canyon, and Skyline, all the time.

**** pedal pushers, they shouldn't be in the middle of the lane anyways, but stay in your lane in respect for motorcyclists.

redwood is a fun road. kinda drifffty lately with all that gravel on it. i dont undertand why, but all the turn outs are filled with extra dirt so you cant pull off in them. but otheer theen that its a pretty fun road.

I spun my car on redwood rd back in july of 2002.

did a complete 180, and barely brushed the dirt mound on the side as i spun, stripping some paint off the bumper.

It's a run road, but the decreasing radius turns can catch you off guard

RWR is only a couple miles from me, so I go on that one often. Its more interesting at night, but theres deer and other furry targets, so watch out. Skyline is fun at night because they have those lights on the side... I can turn off my lights and those will be the only source of light so its like those old space movies with the roads in the sky (yeah I'm a dork... its still cool looking tho)
