Redline gear oil in Santa Rosa/Petaluma

Anyone know where I can find some Redline lightweight shockproof? I'm trying to avoid paying $7 to have one quart shipped to me.

Give LIC a call in the morning. They don't sell Redline, they use better stuff.

Might want to talk to Benny at Lubrify.com. He travels all around to auto-x. You might be able to pick it up from him in a few weeks at Candlestick.

Don't use Redline transmission fluid, it's not formulated right for our trannys. If you must use something aftermarket other than Subaru Gold Extra S, go with Motul 300.

I'm using Uncle Scotty's Cocktail of 1qt Redline lightweight shockproof, 1qt Pennzoil or GM Synchromesh, 2qt Castrol HypoyC 80w-90. Everyone says that works great so I want to try it.

Just drive down the road to LIC for some Swepco. Trust me.

I already bought 1 qt. of synchromesh and 2 qt of the hypoyC. So could I put those in then top it off with swepco? This is my first time dealing with tranny fluid so bear with me.

I'd return the other stuff and go pure Swepco. It feels amazing and the LIC guys get great feedback from the customers that use it.

Forget about this cocktail, If you want high performance tranny protection go see LIC in Novato and get Swepco fluid....sometimes you have to get the best fluids available, AWD transmissions are one of those times.

Alright, I did a little research and it looks like I'll be going to Navato to get some swepco. It's the 201 right?

I'm not sure on the number of the formula, but just tell Noah at LIC that you need swepco for your tranny.

I've never understood the mob mentallity with Scotty's Cocktail; it's **** and Redline lightweight (aka Smurf Blood) clogs the oil passage ways in the 5 speed transmission.

we use and sell swepco 201...

dont use redline

dont use cocktails.

we recommend either OEM fluid, Valvoline, or Swepco.

*Swepco is sold in 1 gallon increments, they dont offer it in 1 qt size (not for 201).
