never in my life have I been able to call a tire loud or quiet!? i never understand why that topic gets reviewed with tires.

that either means you've had all really loud tires or relatively quiet tires?

falken azenis rt-215
yokohama a520s

Contiental conti extremes, they are less noisy than the falken 912, and I think the treadwear is better.

i've always bought 140-200TW but i drive other cars (an outback w same chassis and sound deadening) with normal tires

oh well no biggie. I just cant stand people reviewing tires on Tire Rack "they're far too loud, i won't buy again" give me a ****ing break.

I've had excellent experience with toyo proxes4, sumitomos, and I hear that the bridgestone re096as is pretty much the flagship all season.

Just don't get falken ziex912. They suck, have terrible driving feel and are really loud at loud speeds.

I got a set of Toyo Proxes 4, they were a good price, I live in Vancouver, BC which is essentially a rainforest and these things grip in the wet 10x better than the RE092's.. (which is the only other tire I used up here). I don't know what it is but I even notice a difference driving through puddles/standing water, the tires seem to go right through without that usual slow down you usually experience.

They seem sticky enough, definitely quiet.. but don't know much about tires or how they compare to other tires recommended in this thread.

I picked these up on the third they track well and are good in the Snow. Hella quiet, and predictable. I paid 105.00 per at the Local Peerless Tyre.

Here they are on my car.

Do they carry these @ Costco? I was there tonight and I stopped by the tire center they have their, wasn't 100% sure what tire I was lookin' for. But they do support Bridgestone, Michelin, and some other one... but if they got the bridgestones, there is 70bux off right now for 4 tires =P. Anyone know how I can figure out if my costco has these tires, or if I can order 'em from them and have them put it in? =D
