Eh, you'll maybe feel better if the Giants went after Adrian Beltre. At least they've assessed the closer situation. If they did, I can smell the penant now. =)

nen will be back as their closer...
remember, it was one FRIGGIN' game both the a's and giants lost out.
if they werent screwing around last month, they should both made the playoffs...
GRRRRRRRR. so close...

So... This all makes sense now.... When Kent was playing for the G-men, he still wanted to be playing for his boyhood dreamteam, the stinking Dodgers. This may explain why he never really fit in- so yeah- go to LA- it seems he belongs there with the rest of the b!tches on that team.
Don't take this personally Dodger fans, I am a mere typical Giants fan.
I heard the Giants have already made some moves of their own, but I'm still in the dark. Anyone know? [off to check giants webpage]
EDIT: the giants have picked up Omar Visquel (ss) and Armando Benitez (closer), and are looking into Steve finley. The two they've signed should fill some gaping holes in the roster, and as for Steve Finley, I hate him- but I bet that'd change if he was winning games for us, rather that hitting division-winning, walk-off grand slams to send your team home for the year.
I guess the ONLY thing he could do to redeem himself would be to sign with the Giants. Its funny how thinks happen, sometimes...

F*** LA!
The Giants starting going downhill when we lost our manager and Santiago. They've been making some boneheads decisions since Alou got signed up. Definitely can't justify going to their games until they get a better lineup.
