It's not a 'vs.' thing. Just an instructional track day at a great price for i-club members.

Question

Question for you track gurus:

My helmet is an Snell M2000, I use it for RallyX and AutoX. Is that gonna work? What is the current requirement for track helmets?

Thanks a bunch (of bananas).

I am just concerned that it's M (motorcycle) rated. BTW, it's open faced. I think I have to rent.

Open or closed faced ... it shouldn't matter.

I've seen a few motorcycle helmets used during open track days. I know that the types of impacts they are designed for are different (car vs. motorcycles) ... but either should be okay for what we are doing.

I'm in, and it will be my first.

Any one know where I could buy a helmet?
Is there anything else I should pickup as well?

Accurate tire pressure gauge is a good thing to have on hand.

Werd! I'll have the specs from the alignment I got 2 days AFTER I ran at T-Hill for the first time... I'm amazed I didn't crash and die!
