another option is to go to norcal hobbies.
pay $10 to practice.
i was there this afternoon to pick up a part and while cold, both off road and on road tracks where open...
btw, santa came early (ok... i paid for overnight shiiping... lol) for the traxxas rally.
it's 1.16 scale and it's kinda made for on road since they've been using the gymkhana term all over their ads...
they are even coming out with the ken block ford rally car with green wheels and almost a exact copy of the paint scheme:
note the huck skull...

I would go to the track but I can only run on weekends cause of work. I know they have race events on the weekends so that rules that out.
I've seen that car. I like it but something with me and Traxxas just doesn't sit well. Tamiya, HPI or AE all the way.

the "other" track is open when they are racing in the other...
norcal recently switch days. sat are onroad and sundays are offroad.

Can somebody help me out. Where and how much? I want one of these so bad. I just got a traxxas Rustler VXL brushless and its fun but I want a subie. what brands/models are good for rally and drifting like seen in this thread? Thanks.
